Cenfura is an Alternative Energy Services Company established to accelerate the adoption of fully distributed alternative energy across Africa. We develop and operate assets, introduce advanced technologies, and implement systems that enable the world’s next-generation energy networks. Our mission is to provide dependable, affordable, and sustainable electricity to communities, industries, and governments.

Key Areas of Focus

Distributed Solar Farms and Mini-Grids

  • Distributed Solar Farms: These are smaller-scale solar power systems that generate electricity close to where it is consumed, reducing transmission losses and improving energy access for remote areas.

  • Mini-Grids: Localized energy systems that can operate independently or connect to the larger grid. These systems are ideal for providing electricity to off-grid or under-served areas. They typically combine solar panels with batteries for energy storage to ensure a reliable power supply.

Utility-Scale Solar + Energy Storage

  • Utility-Scale Solar: Large solar farms designed to produce significant amounts of electricity to be fed directly into the national grid. These systems typically require vast expanses of land and advanced technologies to optimize energy production.

  • Energy Storage: Integrating batteries or other storage technologies with solar systems to store excess energy generated during the day for use at night or during cloudy periods. This ensures continuous power supply even when solar generation is low.

Nuclear Power Units (NPUs) for Baseload Power

Nuclear Power Units: Nuclear power plants . These units can provide stable and reliable electricity (baseload power) to regions that need constant energy, such as industrial zones or urban areas.

Public-Private Partnerships and Local Technology Transfer

  • Public-Private Partnerships (PPP): Collaborations between government bodies and private companies like Cenfura to implement energy projects. Governments may provide regulatory support, land, and financing, while private companies bring in expertise, technology, and innovation.

  • Local Technology Transfer: Helping local businesses and communities in Africa acquire the skills, knowledge, and technology necessary to build, operate, and maintain energy infrastructure. This enhances self-sufficiency and promotes long-term sustainability.
